Teaching reflective data practices for sustainable
technology design 

REDUCE

The REDUCE project aims to develop educational resources that support students in designing technologies that contribute to sustainable transformations. It focuses on reflective data practices, where reflective use of data is encouraged throughout the design cycle, from ideation to implementation and use. 

The main result is a set of teaching activities, which will be published as an open educational resource (OER). The OER can be used by technology design teachers in higher education to create conditions for students to grow into ecologically and socially responsible and sustainability-sensitive designers of future technologies.

The project is based on a collaboration between Malmö University (coordinator), Aarhus University, Eindhoven University of Technology, WB Advies & Communicatie and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
